Who is the course for?
The Abrasive Wheels course is for anyone who, during the course of their everyday work may need to select and mount an abrasive or diamond cutting wheels and comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
Where does it take place?
The Abrasive Wheels Awareness course generally takes place at a client’s premises or on site and the course last’s half a day and up to 6 delegates can attend.
Who is eligible for the Abrasive Wheels Awareness Course?
To be eligible for the course candidates must be able to understand spoken English and on successfully passing the course each candidate will receive a certificate of competence valid for a period of three years.
The Abrasive Wheels Awareness course provides delegates with a practical exercise in the correct selection & mounting of abrasive wheels, if you require more extensive training with practical exercises which address specific equipment used within your company we are able to offer a more comprehensive full day course.
